Day at Kruger National Park...

Ok, I was so impatient to have a first look of the park, the bigger South African parc, The Kruger. So with the massive car we rented yesterday...

Nice isn't it? (I would like to say that I have driven on the left for the first time today, and it is actually easy...)

Then we get to the park 8am, to enjoy the entire day in it! But, because there is a "but", the weather was not very kind with us.... first day of rain since we are here... anyway it is nice to see the nature in all situations!

The first animal we saw is.... a turtle crossing the road, a very small one, it was cute.

But we were not there to see only turtle, the second ones and the must common were Impalas. At the end of the day we honking to get them out of "the road". This animal is very close to the doe and they are moving by herd, with only one male for about 10 females (no comment...)

A male crossing the road to stop us till all females were far away.

Then some pictures of the herd:

The next animal was a Bufalo, a BIG cow.... they were very close to the car, and this animal is one of the most dangerous, even more than a Lion!! but anyway, nothing is more important than a nic picture! So here some pics of that "cow" thinking "what the f**k are you doing guys"...

Then we get to a lodge, in the middle of the parc where we saw a statue made by the guys doing our restaurant... (quite realistic isn't it??)

Close to that lodge we saw a herd of kudu

Some other pics from the lodge:

flower after rain

what a nice elephant...

Birds: We saw many of them but only 3

were close enought to take nice pictures the last one is a kind of eagle but it was far from the road, so the picture is not very good... sorry!

Sexy...

Here we are, the king, actually, his wife.... It is quite dificult to see the entire family, and even one of them in that part of the huge park, we were lucky, the pic is taken far for The Animal, I'm not crazy enough to go too close and ask for a pic...

And the last: "big papa" (ou Maurice pour les intimes) The Elephant, we saw many of them, babies runing at the very beginning of the day, they were running to fast to take pictures... But later we saw big big ones, one was eating close to the way, another was watching us and the last one crossing the road...
They are not as we can see them in our European zoo.... They are bigger, closer but as slow and quiet as ours.

I find that one funny, this one will never get a ticket for overspeed!!!!

Trees, we definitely don't have same trees in Europe...

And to close this article, 3 panoramas made with all my love to make you enjoy these amazing landscapes...
