We decided to spend our holidays (4 days) on the east South African coast. I will give you a small overview:
Thursday 23rd June during the night: travel by car to
Sodwana Bay (12 hours)
- Potholes like I never saw before (2square meters and 20cm deep)
- A donkey and a cow dead next to the road
- Front of a truck on a "on construction" road (Manuel is the king of the backward)
- 60 km of gravel road at the end
- Sunrise in the mountain
Friday 24th June
- Breakfast on a small restaurant on the beach
- All day spend on the beach (playing in the Indian Ocean and beach hike)
- Beers, wines and barbecue for the evening
- Night spent at "Da Blu Juice" backpacker (Very nice!!! Small dorm with kitchen, bathroom, hammocks and barbecue)
Saturday 25th June
- Breakfast at the same restaurant that Friday
- Drive to Santa Lucia (safe road...)
- Chilling afternoonon the beach and 2nd hike
- Evening at Bib's backapcker and dinner in a Mozambique specialities restaurant
Sunday 26th June
- Drive through the St Lucia wetland Park
- Beach time
- Drive to Bergville ( almost killed a dog, and hit another animal (no coments Manuel)
- Arrived and slept at amphitheatre backpackers (Bar, Swimming pool, Sona...)
Monday 27th June
- 8am: Sona and cold shower
- Drive in the Royal National Parc
- Hike to a small falls
- 11am: Manuel falls straight to the falls!!!!
- Way back to Lulekani city... (9h driving)
